Another Private Pakistani Airline Wants to Start UK Flights

Air Sial has applied for approval to begin direct flight operations to the United Kingdom, with plans to operate routes to London, Manchester, and Birmingham, according to official reports.

The development follows the recent decision by the UK authorities to allow Pakistani airlines to resume operations after a five-year suspension.

Before Air Sial’s move, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Airblue had already received clearance to restart flights to the UK.

PIA is scheduled to resume its services on October 25, operating two weekly flights between Islamabad and Manchester, marking the national carrier’s return to the route after nearly four years.

The approval for Pakistani carriers to operate in the UK marks a renewed phase of confidence in the country’s aviation sector.
