Uzbekistan’s private airline launches Lahore–Tashkent direct flights

Twice-weekly service to boost travel, transit links with fares starting from $149

Uzbekistan private airline Centrum Air has launched a direct flight service between Lahore and Tashkent, with operations starting on April 21, 2026. The route will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays using Airbus A320 aircraft, providing connectivity between Pakistan and Uzbekistan and access to onward international destinations.

The airline has partnered with Gerry’s Group as its general sales agent in Pakistan to support operations and ticket distribution.

The Lahore–Tashkent route is expected to cater to a range of passengers, including tourists, students and business travellers, as Uzbekistan gains traction as a destination for Pakistani travellers.

Officials said the service will also facilitate travel to cities such as Samarkand and Bukhara, while offering transit connections via Tashkent to destinations including Frankfurt, Guangzhou, Moscow and cities in Southeast Asia.

Introductory fares for the route start from $149, with tickets available through the airline’s website and authorised agents.

The airline said the new route is part of its broader strategy to expand its international network and strengthen connectivity between Central Asia and other regions.
