Pakistan International Airlines announced a 40% reduction in fares for flights from Pakistan to Riyadh and Dammam, effective May 5, 2026. The discount applies to outbound routes and can be booked via PIA’s official channels.

LAHORE: Pakistan International Airlines has announced a 40% reduction in airfares for passengers travelling from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, offering immediate relief on routes to Riyadh and Dammam.
According to the airline’s spokesperson, the discounted fares have come into effect immediately from May 5, 2026, and are aimed at easing travel costs on two of the busiest routes frequently used by Pakistani passengers.
The airline said the concession applies specifically to outbound flights from Pakistan to Riyadh and Dammam, both of which remain key destinations for workers, families, and business travellers heading to the Kingdom.
The move comes amid sustained demand on Saudi routes, with a large number of Pakistani expatriates regularly travelling between the two countries.
Passengers can avail the discounted fares through PIA’s official booking channels, including its website and authorised travel agents. The airline has advised travellers to check availability and schedules in advance, as demand is expected to remain high following the fare cut.
The announcement is part of a broader effort by PIA to make international travel more accessible while addressing passenger concerns over rising ticket prices on popular routes.
